Very good prof and has a nice accent to listen to! He provides good examples in the lecture notes that are worth looking over for the midterms. Explains content well. Midterms are out of 16 so make sure you know everything well; the exam was much easier. Attending tutorials for example questions was useful. Textbook is useful to fully understand the last few chapters before the exam (more concept based topics). The exam covers more concepts while midterms are more mathematical.

Most First Years who are in science have to take this course. But its fairly easy if you had a good gr 12 chem teacher. The midterms are only 20 questions so its really easy to get a good mark but at the same time completely bomb the course.
